How to Get Two Months of MurphyLearn Free

· Murphy Learn

MurphyLearn is proud to collaborate with the Scrabble Federation of Sri Lanka in nurturing the most promising minds of the future. We'll be giving away free access to the entire platform — from marking all your model papers to chatting with AI subject tutors — for two months for all participants of the Junior National Scrabble Championships 2026.

Here's all you need to do to claim the offer:

  1. Register for your regional tournament
  2. Upload a photo of the scoresheet from one of your games to a link that will be provided to you
  3. Create your free MurphyLearn account and enjoy!

Note that MurphyLearn will be free for all users for our first month, until the 31st of July. This means Scrabble players get a total of three months of free access, lasting until the 30th of September.

Step 1: Register for the Junior Nationals

The Junior National Scrabble Championship is Sri Lanka's biggest and most prestigious youth tournament. Each year, qualifiers are held across the country that welcome players both new and experienced, and the top players of each are given the opportunity to compete for the title of Junior National Champion.

The tournaments are led by veteran directors and even some fellow experienced players, so expect an experience that is both laid back and welcoming, and of a high standard.

To register, visit scrabblefederation.lk or find the specific links for each regional tournament on their social media, @scrabblefederationsl.

Step 2: Upload Your Scoresheet

Throughout the tournament, you'll be using scoresheets to keep track of the points, words and tiles used during each them. These may be your own, or you could use the sheets provided to you by the Scrabble Federation sponsored by MurphyLearn.

Once the tournament series is under way, you'll receive a link that will enable a photo of one of these scoresheets. This is just so we can verify that you participated in one of the tournaments — it doesn't need to be a game you won, or even one you played very well in.

Uploading your scoresheet will take you to a special access portal to MurphyLearn that's exclusively for Scrabble players.

Step 3: Create Your Account

Creating an account on MurphyLearn is quite straightforward, but we'll walk you through it.

  1. Name and email: You'll first need to enter your name and a valid email address so that we can communicate with you and give you access to certain third-party features. You might be asked to verify this email.
  2. User goal: The next step asks you to choose what your goal is for using MurphyLearn, i.e, whether you're a student, a parent or a teacher. Choose student here, but if you accidentally choose a different account type, not to worry — since you have full access to the platform, you can change your account type from your profile.
  3. Choose your exam: There'll be a list of available exams, including Sri Lankan GCE exams and Pearson Edexcel. Choose the one you're studying for to curate your experience.
  4. Choose your subjects: For the last step, you'll be asked to choose the subjects you're studying for your exam. You can select one or as many as you like, and you'll be able to change these on your profile for as long as your unlimited access is still valid.

Best of luck to all Scrabble players and newcomers from everyone at MurphyLearn!
